Global Design Project Sketch Challenge #GDP082--More Disney Freak!

I love using a sketch to get my creative juices flowing.  Using pattern papers and cardstock is like a painter using a palette.  A good sketch can be an inspiration to seeing a new combination that you otherwise wouldn't have thought of.  This is my first time participating in the Global Design Project. This week the sketch challenge is #GDP082--I had just finished my Disney Freak scrapbook layout when I saw the sketch and knew I wanted to make a Disney themed card.
Adventure definitely awaits if you are planning a Disney trip.  I am a high school teacher, and this will be our second year of taking our Seniors to Disneyland Grad Night--it's a long bus ride, and staying up all night can be a challenge when you've left your teen years long ago, but it is a super fun trip and the memories are worth the exhaustion!  I will be using this card as a template to share with the rest of the staff on the upcoming trip!

Here are some supplies you'll need if you'd like to make this card.

  • Paper:  Thick Whisper White Cardstock, Real Red Cardstock, Silver Glimmer Paper, Brights Designer Series Paper Stack, Basic Black Cardstock
  • Cutting tools:  Paper Trimmer, Big Shot, Stitched Shape Framelit Dies, Bow Builder Punch, Bunch of Banners Framelit Dies
  • Stamps & Inks:  Places You'll Go, Memento Black Ink
  • Adhesive:  Fast Fuse, Snail, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals
Click here for my online store.  Be sure you create an account and select me as your demonstrator.  I would love to send you one of these cards if you make a purchase!

If you need some inspiration for your next creation, be sure to check out the Global Design Project blog!  Adventure awaits!
