A Great Day

June 1st is a great day! Today was the last teacher work day, so it is officially summer break for this family! Woohoo! My husband and I are celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary today (and 22 happens to be my favorite number). And, today is the beginning of the brand new Stampin' Up Annual Catalog! Global Design Project Sketch Challenge #GDP082--More Disney Freak!

I love using a sketch to get my creative juices flowing.  Using pattern papers and cardstock is like a painter using a palette.  A good sketch can be an inspiration to seeing a new combination that you otherwise wouldn't have thought of.  This is my first time participating in the Global Design Project. Graduation Cards & End of Year Teacher Gifts

It's never easy saying goodbye to my students at the end of the school year.  And, as a teacher there is always more to do no matter how much you plan in advance to cross things off your to-do list.  But, I love to take the time to make handmade cards for all of my graduating Seniors, Teacher's Assistants, and my boys' teachers.  Here's a collage of the end-of-the year projects I've made.
