Treat Bags #1

I love making Treat Bags!  I am a high school science teacher, and during each holiday season, I love to give Treat Bags to my student helpers in my classroom, all of my children's teachers, and my teaching team.

Here's an easy way to add a topper to a bag, add a special treat, and you instantly have a sweet treat to bless someone with!  Check out the instructions on my Facebook Live Video post at Kristy Scraps.

Here is a link where you can purchase the product to make your own treat bags!  For this project, I used the 3 x 6 Gussetted Cello Bags.  If ordering before October 25, 2017, be sure to use the Host Code GC673KWC to receive a Free Card Kit from me.

Check out my Facebook Live Videos over the next couple of weeks for some more Treat Bag Ideas!  You can find me on Facebook at Kristy Scraps.  Also, if you are local and would like to Host a Party, let me know and we can definitely include Treat Bags at your event!

Global Design Project Sketch Challenge #GDP082--More Disney Freak!

I love using a sketch to get my creative juices flowing.  Using pattern papers and cardstock is like a painter using a palette.  A good sketch can be an inspiration to seeing a new combination that you otherwise wouldn't have thought of.  This is my first time participating in the Global Design Project. This week the sketch challenge is #GDP082--I had just finished my Disney Freak scrapbook layout when I saw the sketch and knew I wanted to make a Disney themed card. Adventure definitely awaits if you are planning a Disney trip.  I am a high school teacher, and this will be our second year of taking our Seniors to Disneyland Grad Night--it's a long bus ride, and staying up all night can be a challenge when you've left your teen years long ago, but it is a super fun trip and the memories are worth the exhaustion!  I will be using this card as a template to share with the rest of the staff on the upcoming trip! Here are some supplies you'll need if you'd like to m

Graduation Cards & End of Year Teacher Gifts

It's never easy saying goodbye to my students at the end of the school year.  And, as a teacher there is always more to do no matter how much you plan in advance to cross things off your to-do list.  But, I love to take the time to make handmade cards for all of my graduating Seniors, Teacher's Assistants, and my boys' teachers.  Here's a collage of the end-of-the year projects I've made. Although some of the Stampin' Up product in the photos is retired, there are a lot of awesome goodies in the new catalog.  If you'd like me to mail you a new catalog, send me an email.  Or you can view the catalog and shop with me online 24/7! As we transition to summer, I will be working hard to update my blog on a regular basis.  I hope you'll check back with me and explore your creativity this summer!
